Why small

Every agency deck promises a senior team. Then the work arrives and the people on the calls are not the people in the deck. We fixed that by removing the layer: when you hire Harborlight Studio, you get Harborlight Studio. Two designers, no account managers, no juniors quietly doing the work.

The trade is honest - we take fewer projects, so we can be in the room for all of yours.

What we believe

• Calm beats clever. The best design decisions are usually deletions. We will say no to half of your ideas, kindly, and be right about most of them.
• Craft is a habit, not a phase. The same care that goes into the logo goes into the empty states, the error copy, and the invoice template.
• Handover is the product. A project is not done when it looks done. It is done when your team can run it without us.
